WW II Horrors of War - Civilian

During WWII, Allied and Axis powers alike planned bombings to destroy military targets and to destroy civilian morale.  The results were devastating, as homes and lives were destroyed.  Scenes of homeless women and children wandering the streets would be repeated across Europe, as bombings destroyed civilian and military targets alike, making WWII a total war.
